'Dole', 'Bull', killed by police in Sealots
Tension in East Port of Spain increased on Thursday after reports that two men, Akani 'Dole' Adams, and another man known only as 'Bull', were shot and killed by police in Sea Lots.
According to initial reports, subject to updates, the incident took place on Thursday afternoon.
The men were allegedly killed during an altercation with Special Operations Response Team (SORT) officers.
Adams and community leader Cedric 'Burkie' Burke were arrested by officers on July 21, 2019 but were released the next day, according to news reports.
Dole had previously been held as a person of interest in the killing of WPC Nyasha Joseph.
He also made news headlines after he allegedly purchased a Range Rover, valued at over $700,000, in cash, in 2018.
The killings come after alleged gang leader 'Sandman', his wife and two others, were shot and killed on Thursday morning.
This is a developing story.
