Dole Chadee's son shot, nursing injuries at hospital

The son of notorious gang leader and convicted murderer Nankissoon "Dole Chadee" Boodram is currently hospitalized nursing a gunshot wound to the back.

According to reports, 36-year-old former attorney Sharma Boodram of Pascal Road, Piparo, was shot at 3 am today.

Boodram, now a farmer, was arrested back in 2015 for gun possession and 14 rounds of ammunition along with Venezuelan national Ramon Small de Jesus.

Boodram was charged separately for one gramme of marijuana.

Jesus pled guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison while Boodram pleaded not guilty and was placed on $200,000 bail.

Boodram's father, Dole Chadee, was hung on June 4, 1999, at the age of 47 after he was found guilty of ordering the murders of Hamilton Baboolal, his sister, Monica and their parents.
