Classes at Dominica State College have been cancelled until next Monday.
The decision to suspend classes comes after fiery anti-Government protest took place, today, near the campus, which is located North of the capital Roseau.
In a statement the college said: “This situation places students under significant stress as they review their work and prepare for exams which begins on Tuesday, 10th December. Students are asked to remain at home and prepare for exams. Students are also reminded to check their ORBUND communication and the Dominica State College social media sites for further notices.”
