Domino's to open first Pizza Theatre
Keeping its promise to offer a dynamic eating experience that’s fun and easy, Domino’s will officially open its first Pizza Theatre on Ariapita Avenue on Wednesday.
The Pizza Theatre is a re-imagined design for Domino’s (DPZ) restaurants that was first unveiled internationally in 2017. It gives customers the option to watch through a glass screen while orders are prepared using the best ingredients.
However, if they’d prefer not to, the restaurant also features a redesigned sitting area using its signature red and blue.
When local entrepreneurs Daniel Fakoory and Omar Hadeed signed a deal that allowed them to assume ownership of the Domino’s Pizza franchise last June, they vowed to bring the international experience of the world’s best tasting pizza to Trinidad.
“Investing in renovation and regular repairs is part and parcel of every retail business, but at Domino’s we are continually innovating to keep up with ever-changing trends and customer preferences,” says Fakoory.
Already, the brand has a structural leg up on delivery, boasting a well-established driver network and ordering system for its three restaurants in St James, Chaguanas and Diego Martin with plans to roll out in San Fernando and Arima in the upcoming months.
“Domino's Pizza remains one of the best stories in food retail and our goal is to create that story here as well,” added Fakoory.
To celebrate the first of many changes the franchise plans to unveil within the next few months, members of the public stuck in traffic along the Ariapita Avenue can look out for the Domino’s representatives that would be giving away 50 percent off coupons and samples near the newly redesigned restaurant over the next two weeks.
