Faris Al-Rawi, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs is presented with the ceremonial key to the Director of Public Prosecution’s new office space on Park Street, Port of Spain by Naasir Mohammed, Communications Manager of NIDCO.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has a new space. The office is now located on Park Street in Port of Spain.

The National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) handed over the ceremonial key for the building to Attorney General Faris Al Rawi on Wednesday.

This new office joins the Tobago office in an upgrade to the facilities. A south office based in San Fernando is also expected to join the set in September.

The office came in at a total of $24 million, $2 million less than originally projected.

The six-storey building, five of which the Office of the DPP occupies, has dedicated floors to house the DPP’s Executive Secretariat, Administrative and Support Units, Processing Units and those assigned for Indictment and Vault usage.
