Driver killed in San Juan shooting

Police believe that a 27-year-old man may have been killed by a passenger in his car.

The deceased has been identified as Trevor Donald.

According to police reports, around 3.30 pm on Sunday, residents of Saddle Road,  San Juan, heard a loud crashing noise, and upon investigating, they saw a Nissan Wingroad had crashed into a light pole.

One man was seen exiting the vehicle from the left side of the car.

He appeared to be delirious and walked a short distance away.

When persons went to check on the driver, they observed that he was unresponsive and appeared to be bleeding heavily from gunshot wounds.

However, when checks were made for the other man, he had fled the scene.

The police and paramedics were notified, and the area was cordoned off.

Two spent shells were found and seized by crime scene investigators.

More on this as it becomes available.
