Drone used in recovery of stolen Gov't vehicle
With the used of drone technology deployed by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s Air Support Unit, officers successfully recovered a Ministry of Works and Transport vehicle which was reported stolen on Monday.
Drone footage showed the white Fortuner in an isolated area in Phase 5, Hell Yard, Beetham Gardens around 10:25 am.

The Ministry’s logo had reportedly been removed from the vehicle.
Officers, under the supervision of Sgt. Christopher Swamber of the Stolen Vehicles Squad conducted a joint search exercise with the Air Support Unit, led by Sgt. Ronny Rampallard, between 8 am and 10:30 am on Wednesday, to locate and recover the stolen vehicle.
The vehicle has since been conveyed to the Central Police Station for processing and enquiries are continuing.
No arrests have yet been made.
