A large quantity of ammunition along with quantities of marijuana and cocaine were found and seized, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the St. Clair policing district on Friday.
During the exercise, officers conducted a search of a bushy area along Upper Harold Street, Boissiere Village #2.
There, they found and seized 252 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 59 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, 1.90 kilogrammes of marijuana and 16 grammes of cocaine.
The exercise was coordinated by Snr. Supt. Michael Daniel and supervised by Insp. Lopez and Cpl. Budri, involving officers of the St. Clair, Woodbrook and Belmont Police Stations, Port of Spain Criminal Investigations Department and Canine Unit.
