Dry taps for Diego Martin, Petit Valley residents next Tuesday
Interconnection work at the Four Roads Pumping Station scheduled for next Tuesday is expected to leave residents in Diego Martin and Petit Valley without pipeborne water for most of the day.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advised that the disruption takes place between the hours of 9:30 am and 5 pm.
Affected areas include:
Diego Martin Main Road from Four Roads to Sardonyx Drive including La Puerta Avenue, Manning Street, Crystal Stream, La Estancia, Mary Avenue, Anne Avenue, Eligon Avenue, Rich Plain Road and environs
Morne Coco Road from Four Roads to Glen Drive including Alyce Glen and Simeon Road
Morne Coco Road from Four Roads to Sunset Drive including Goodwood Park
Customers are reminded that it may take up to eight hours for the scheduled pipe borne service to normalise to some affected areas following the resumption of operations, .
Customers are further advised to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426 for further information or assistance.
A limited truck borne water service will be available with priority given to schools, medical institutions and homes for the aged.
