Duke gets $250K bail

Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Minority Leader and Public Service Association (PSA) President Watson Duke has been granted $250,000 bail.

Duke, who is charged with sedition, was granted bail when he appeared before Port-of-Spain Magistrate Adia Mohammed.

According to the charge, Duke made utterances with seditious intent on the compound of TSTT in Port of Spain November 16, 2018.

The union boss was tak­en to the Port-of-Spain Mag­is­trates' Court on Friday af­ter being dis­charged from the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal earlier in the day.

The matter was adjourned to December 13.
