Update: Fire officer among four killed in Longdenville accident

Four people are confirmed dead following an early morning accident in Longdenville on Saturday. 

According to police reports, around 4:02 am this morning, a silver Toyota Axio motor vehicle with four male occupants was proceeding along the Longdenville Main Road.

Upon reaching the corner of Dam Road and the main road, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.  

Police say all four men died at the scene.

The driver has since been identified as 26-year-old Kerwin Duncan, a fire officer, of Edinburgh 500, while the front seat passenger has been identified as 29-year-old Dwayne Dick.

Police are currently working on ascertaining the identities of the two other passengers.

Investigations are ongoing.
