Eddie Hart food court converts to drive-thru to prevent gatherings

Customers to the food court at Eddie Hart grounds are advised that there will now be a drive-thru service to prevent gatherings while allowing for the purchase of food items. 

The Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation issued an update via social media announcing the change as part of safety measures to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). 

The Corporation said: 

"In keeping with the mandate of the Trinidad and Tobago Government in their efforts to safeguard the population in the face of COVID-19, the Corporation will be converting the Eddie Hart Savannah (Food Village) to a drive-through until further (notice).

"All patrons are advised that loitering in and/or stopping, waiting or parking along the major roadways surrounding the savannah are strictly prohibited."

The Corporation said it would keep the public informed as the situation develops.
