Emergency repairs, partial shutdown of Caroni WTP on Monday

The Caroni Water Treatment Plant will undergo a partial shutdown on Monday to facilitate emergency maintenance works.

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has advised that the partial shutdown of the facility will take place from midday tomorrow.

Repairs will also be carried out on a defective valve at the site of the new Curepe interchange.

Residents in Central and South West Trinidad are expected to be impacted by the disruption in service between the hours of 12 pm and 8 pm, while the supply to areas in North Trinidad will be restored by 6 am on Tuesday.
