Equipment stolen from construction site at Lady Young Road

Over TT$20,000 in tools were stolen over the Carnival period from a construction site along Lady Chancellor Hill.
PC Gosine, of the St Clair Police Station, is currently investigating a report in which the machines and tools which were being used to help construct a structure along Knaggs Hill Road, Lady Chancellor, Port of Spain, was missing.
The police were told that at 5:00 pm last Friday, the items were secured in a storeroom at the location and workers went away.
Upon returned on Ash Wednesday, the workers observed the door of the southern side of the storeroom open.
The locks had been pried open and were on the ground.
Checks revealed that two Hilti machines valued at TT$15,000, and TT$4,000 respectively, as well as wire paddles valued at TT$2,500, among other items, were missing.
The police were notified and officers of the St Clair Police Station responded.
