FFOS calls for drones for environmental hot-spot programme

Gary Aboud, environmentalist and Corporate Secretary of conservation group Fishermen and Friends of the Sea (FFOS), made a national call for citizens with drones to help in spotting environmental issues across the country.

In a public post on social media, Aboud said that he needs help from the public to help pinpoint environmental issues in Trinidad and Tobago.

"This is a national call, an SOS for all drone owners and operators, we have a national environmental hot-spot monitoring programme," said Aboud.

The group is coordinating a monthly review of environmental hot-spots where degradation is occurring.

Anyone wishing to help the group can reach out on 674-5483 or visit them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/FFOSTT
