FilmTT to host stakeholder meeting
Nneka Luke. GM of FilmTT
The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company Limited (FilmTT) is inviting all stakeholders to a meeting on present and future sector development plans.
The meeting will take place on Monday, July 10 at 4 pm at the Auditorium, Government Campus Plaza, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain.
FilmTT’s General Manager, Nneka Luke, explains, “There has been some progress in the film and audio-visual sector since the film company’s last stakeholder meeting two years ago. The meeting on July 10 is an opportunity for us at FilmTT to reconnect with professionals who work in the field, and to talk about current and future sector development plans. I, therefore, invite all persons working in the sector to attend this meeting. We would also like to invite businesses and individuals who provide ancillary services such as transportation, accommodation, catering, costuming etc. to attend; they are also an integral part of the development of the industry and are therefore crucial to the conversation.”
Also at the meeting, attendees will be introduced to Olsberg•SPI, the consulting firm selected to research and develop a five-year strategic plan that will address the developmental needs of the Trinidad and Tobago film and audio-visual sector.
Luke adds, “Olsberg•SPI is a leading creative industries consultancy based in London that specialises in strategy consultancy and development for clients in film, television and digital media. This meeting is the first step in connecting Olsberg•SPI to our stakeholders as part of the research phase of strategic planning.”
Persons interested in attending this meeting are asked to register at www.filmtt.co.tt/stakeholdermeeting.
