Fitzgerald Hinds files police report over Beetham flood bath
Acting Attorney General and MP for Laventille West, Fitzgerald Hinds has made a report to the Besson Street Police Station over the Beetham wetting incident.
Hinds visited residents at Beetham Gardens on Tuesday following days of rainfall which led to subsequent flooding when angry residents kicked and drenched him with flood waters.
Sources at the Besson Street Police Station confirmed that a report was filed on Wednesday morning.
However, further details were not provided on the matter as the officer noted that it could potentially sub judice the case.
The official did say that suspects were already identified.
Meanwhile, Loop TT contacted Minister Hinds to enquire whether he intended to meet with Beetham residents in light of the incident.
He said, "certainly".
The Minister would not answer any questions regarding his intent to take legal action against his perpetrators.
