Five persons, including a person who works at the Carib Brewery, were held on Friday night for driving under the influence.
The five persons also included a 68-year-old man who owns an office furniture business; a 45-year old man who manages a prominent lens store; a 28-year-old vessel operator at an international oil company; and a 51-year-old butcher.
The highest reading given by one of the detained persons was 85 microgrammes.
The legal limit in this country is 35.
The five were held during police exercises by officers of the Port of Spain Division which begun at 8pm on Friday and ended at 2am on Saturday.
They were coordinated by Sup Rampath, and included ASP Sooker, Insp Deonarine, Sgt Bharath, Cpl Ramchaitar, PC Orr, and WPC Rose.
