Frontliners at Couva, Caura hospitals to be provided with daily meals
For one month, the Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) will provide meals to employees at the Couva and Caura hospitals.
SATT launched its food drive for COVID-19 frontliners on Saturday.
The Association said the frontline staff have put their welfare on the line for the nation and, as such it has decided to launch this initiative to highlight their sacrifices.
"Both Couva and Caura healthcare facilities have become ground zero for the treatment of confirmed infected COVID-19 patients.The frontline staff including doctors, nurses,dusting staff,cleaners and everyone else have put their welfare on the line for the nation at this time."
SATT also thanked the healthcare workers for their dedication during this time and committed to providing delicious, high quality lunches daily.
"We really want to thank you guys for putting the collective needs of the nation above your own welfare at this time and we do our part to ensure that you receive delicious, high quality provision of lunches daily!!" it said.
