The funeral for Kyle “Rebel Sixx” George is expected to take place at 10 am on Tuesday in St James. The service is carded to take place at the Dibe Church of the Nazarene along Dibe Road, Long Circular. He will then be interred at the Mucurapo Cemetery.

George, 26, was fatally shot by two masked men while playing on his Playstation 4 gaming console at his Viceroy Crescent, Bon Air Gardens, Arouca home on Sunday night. He succumbed to his wounds at about 12.35 am on Monday.

No one has been held for this incident.

Just over a day later, four persons were shot near George’s home in Arouca. Two masked men were also said to be responsible. One of the four victims remains warded in a serious condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex having been shot six times. The others have since been treated and discharged. While suspected to be linked, police have no official confirmation.

The dancehall star was best known for his songs 'Rifle War' and 'Fully Dunce'.

He was also part of the Jamaican dancehall crew known as 6ix.

George's mother has since spoken out on his killing, asking his friends and fans not to engage in any ‘reprisal’ activities and further any violence.
