Freeport gas station robbed

Police are investigating a report in which armed men robbed a gas station in Freeport on Monday morning.

According to police reports, around 1:30 am on Monday, workers were at the service station at St Mary’s Junction when a Nissan B13 pulled into the area.

Two men exited the vehicle and made their way to a room at the station where the cash register was kept.

Both men, police were told, had firearms on them.

The men took the proceeds of the night and then returned to their vehicle and drove off.

No injuries were reported in this incident.
