The Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) is among the growing number of establishments announcing the closure of their offices today following the damage caused by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake which shook T&T Tuesday afternoon.
The NP House Head Office at Sea Lots, POS will remain closed on Wednesday as assessments of the extent of the damage of Tuesday’s earthquake are done.
NP assures that the temporary closure has in no way affected its ability to provide fuel to its service stations, adding that it will continue to ensure that the country has a reliable and continuous supply of fuel.
NP advised against panic buying as it says this will only serve to influence fuel shortages.
