Griffith meets Japanese Ambassador to T&T

Police Commissioner Gary Griffith received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Japan to Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday.

Tatsuo Hirayama met with Griffith at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Police Administration Building, POS, on Wednesday.

Discussions centred on identifying ways to collaborate on issues on safety and security, and the continued transformation of the police service (TTPS).

The Japanese Ambassador also congratulated Commissioner Griffith and members of the TTPS on the successful strides made thus far towards the transformation of the service.

Also in attendance at the meeting were acting DCP of Operations Harrikrishen Baldeo and acting Senior Superintendent Deonarine Basdeo.
