A police exercise in Sea Lots on Saturday led to the discovery of a firearm and a quantity of ammunition.
The anti-crime exercise was conducted between 6 pm and 10:30 pm by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force.
Police reports indicate that officers went to Pioneer Drive, Sea Lots near a basketball court where they found one pistol with a magazine containing six rounds of 9mm ammunition and two clear plastic bags containing a quantity marijuana.
No one was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
