Guns, ammo found at abandoned house in Cascade

Two pistols and quantities of ammunition and marijuana are discovered by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise in Port of Spain on Thursday.

The exercise was conducted in the Belmont, Cascade and St. Ann’s districts.

During the exercise, officers proceeded to an abandoned house in Cascade, where they discovered the two firearms, along with three rounds of .38mm ammunition.

Meanwhile, 20 grammes of marijuana was also discovered in an open piece of land at St. Francois Valley Road, Belmont.

No arrest was made in connection with the find.
