Guns, drugs seized in San Juan exercise

Three firearms and an estimated two kilogrammes of drugs were seized during police exercises last night in San Juan.

According to reports, a team of officers from the North Eastern Division, led by Snr Sup Sagramsingh, ASP Sooker, and Inspector Maraj, made their way to an abandoned home along Don Miguel Road.

In the house, the officers found and seized a brown box with a quantity of marijuana with an estimated weight of 1.4 kgs; a quantity of cocaine with an estimated weight of 400 grammes; two Taurus revolvers; one Beretta pistol; four rounds of assorted ammunition; and three camouflage jackets.

No one was arrested with this find.
