HDC advises of changes in operations over COVID-19
As businesses across the country race to put measures in place to protect their customers and staff from COVID-19, the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced a change in its operations.
In a statement, the Corporation said it is no longer seeing clients at its South Quay offices unless they have been contacted to come in.
Only clients who have been called in for assessment interviews or to pay fees for allocation of housing are being seen.
Such clients are to visit the HDC at the agreed upon times and are asked to adhere to the health and safety requirements implemented by the HDC.
The HDC said it will not be facilitating payments of mortgage, rental and other agreements until further notice and is instead advising such clients to conduct these transactions at any SurePay payment centre.
Clients who wish to request emergency repairs, are encouraged to contact the Estate Management Division’s Call Centre: 612-7432 ext 1004-1006 or submit messages via the HDC’s Facebook platform.
Clients with obvious flu-like symptoms are encouraged to stay away from the office and contact the relevant HDC Department to conduct their transaction or submit their enquiry.
The Corporation said it looks forward to the cooperation of its clients in order to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
