Homemade shotguns seized in St Mary's

Five homemade shotguns and a quantity of ammunition were discovered in St. Mary’s over the weekend.

Officers of the Southern Division Task Force conducted an exercise between 3:45pm and 7:00pm, on Friday at Saunders Trace, Moruga.

Acting on information, the officers proceeded to a hunter’s camp in a forested area, where they found the five guns, along with five 12 gauge cartridges.

No arrests were made in connection with the find.
