The teenagers were pointed out in identification parades on Tuesday.

Smith, 23, was stabbed to death along Bushe Street, Curepe, that night, following a confrontation with the two teenagers.

It was said that Smith had thrown a rock at the teens, however, following this attack, the young men waited a bit before one of them went to their house and came back with a knife.

Smith was stabbed and died a few minutes later along the roadway.

The teenagers – ages 16 and 17 – are neighbours who lived close to where the killing took place.
