KFC closes amid restrictions, takes last stocks to hospitals

After the Government updated the Public Health Ordinance ordering the closure of all restaurants until April 30, 2020, KFC decided to donate its last stocks to frontline workers caring for COVID-19 patients at the Couva and Caura Hospitals.
This was revealed in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
On Monday, the Government intensified efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic including extending Stay-at-Home measures that would have ended on April 15, 2020.
At the time of publication, Trinidad and Tobago had eight deaths related to the novel coronavirus while 107 people tested positive.
