KFC opens 56th restaurant at South Park

The KFC chain of restaurants opened its 56th store at South Park Shopping Center, Michael Rahael Blvd, San Fernando on September 12.

The new restaurant seats 80 people and uses contemporary, clean design lines to give customers a sense of space in a modern setting whilst they enjoy their KFC.

Commenting on the opening, Chief Executive Officer at Prestige Holdings Limited, Charles Pashley, said “the opening of this KFC is the 56th KFC in Trinidad and Tobago and is one of four Prestige Holdings Limited brands that we will open in San Fernando this year. In total PHL will open eight new restaurants in our beautiful twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago in 2016.”

“At KFC, we take pride that our chicken is made the hard way.  It is prepared fresh, every day, by a real cook.  This is what makes our chicken taste Finger Lickin’ Good.  It is this strength, built over the last 43 years, that allows PHL to continue to invest in great looking; high-quality restaurants for KFC, in spite of the tough economic times we are experiencing.”

Pashley stated that through KFC’s dedicated and committed employees, PHL continue to grow and prosper as an organisation.

Simon Hardy, Vice President of KFC indicated that with the opening of KFC SouthPark, 40 jobs were created for persons in the area as well as providing more business opportunities to local suppliers.

KFC Trinidad and Tobago is home to the world’s winning formula of the Colonel’s 11 Secret Herbs and Spices. We are committed to doing food the hard way – by having real cooks, hand preparing chicken fresh every day, this has made KFC Trinidad and Tobago the best tasting KFC in the world.
