Ammo found in church
And in an unrelated incident, Fyzabad police are investigating a report in which ammunition was found in a church.
The illegal items were found in a crate hidden between the exterior wall and the roof of the Central Missions Foundation International Church, located along the Guapo Main Road.
Five rounds of 9mm ammunition, as well as a magazine, was found and seized.
No arrests were made in connection with this find, however, the ammunition is expected to be sent for ballistic testing to determine if it can be linked to any reports of serious crime in the district.
The ammunition, police said, was found on Friday morning during an exercise conducted by officers of the Fyzabad Police Station, the CID, and the South Western Task Force.
PC Balkaran is continuing inquiries.
