List of donation drop-off points; T&T mobilises to help flood victims

Several areas in Trinidad have been severely impacted by flooding following adverse weather over the last few days.

Residents in the hardest-hit areas have been evacuated or are in the process of being evacuated to shelters.  

Numerous companies, agencies, charities and organisations have mobilised to start collecting donations for those people displaced by the floods. Persons are encouraged to donate the following items at any of the collection areas listed below.

Some of the critical items being requested are:

Bottled water

Baby supplies – food, diapers, wipes

Adult diapers

Canned and other food items

Toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, sanitary napkins

Towels

First Aid Kits

Mattresses

Blankets

Pillows

Clothes

Slippers

Cleaning supplies – bleach, disinfectant, detergent, mops, brooms

Tarpaulins
