The Lounge: Protoje's New Wave comes to T&T
New Wave TT is set to advance the creative arts and entertainment industry in Trinidad and Tobago by showcasing different sectors on the same platform.
Today, April 15, the stage will be set for acoustic performances; fashion demonstrations and pop-ups as well as visual art representation at #16 Hayes Street, St. Clair.
New Wave TT is an extension of New Wave Jamaica started by reggae artist Proptoje and some business partners. It aims to create a platform that showcases various creative industries in the same space.
Showcasing designs in the realm of fashion and accessories will be: Shop Shari; Ladies of 420 and the Wadada Movement; 1ndividual; Laura Narayansingh and handbag line Jovew by Makisa Lewis. The focus on visual art will be represented by Danielle Boodoo- Fortune and AJ Rogers. Acoustic performances will also be done by local starts in their respective genres, Kalpee and Jimmy October as well as Protoje.

Tickets are priced at one hundred dollars and are available for the showcase at Solera in C3; Shop Shari located at the corner of Warren and Rosalino Streets, Woodbrook and Uncorked Wines and Spirits Limited on Tragarete Road. Gates open at 5pm.
