Mac Farlane presents Christmas Joy – The Gift of the Drum

After the resounding success of 2015’s production “Christmas Joy”, acclaimed designer Brian Mac Farlane will again usher in the holiday season with a sequel to the performance titled “Christmas Joy – The Gift of the Drum”
This year’s production will feature the very best Christmas music – from traditional to modern, including all the most loved carols and Yuletide favourites.
The Gift of the Drum will feature two local music icons, namely Kelwyn Hutcheon with Oh How I Wish I Were a Child Again and Lennox Gray with Around my Christmas Tree.
Patrons will also be treated to an arrangement of Ave Maria composed by world-renowned Hungarian-born Dr Charles Brunner.
The cast includes celebrated artists including Marlon De Bique, Wendell Constantine, Wendy Sheppard, Rosezanna Winchester, Raquel Winchester, Marvin Smith, Stephanie Nahous, Alethea Beharry, Ancil Valley and Anne Fridal, all under the direction of Dr Brunner and Richard Pierre.
The Gift of the Drum opens with a Gala event at the Queen’s Hall on November 26. Part proceeds from the Gala contribution will go to the Children’s Ark.
