A magical experience awaits you in UWI's Secret Garden
The Secret Garden beckons all with a key to unlock their magical experience on Sunday, January 14 at the University of the West Indies campus.
From 12 pm the grounds adjacent to the Principal's office will be transformed into the ultimate all-inclusive party destination with entertainment from some of the industry's leading performers.
Patrons can look forward to Dil-Nadan and Kes the Band taking the stage at the 28th instalment of the fete.
Joining them will be the Caribbean Queen of Soca, Alison Hinds, Voice and Marge Blackman, Rhapsody and headliner Machel Montano.
UWI fete celebrates the 70th year of the institution's existence. Run by the UWI Development and Endowment Fund (UWIDEF), the primary focus of the UWI fete remains to provide bursaries.
“Our focus is on providing support for students in need. Over the 28 years, we have provided support for just about 3000 students and over 15 million dollars” stated UWIDEF Chair, Nigel Romano.
Tickets have maintained their prices from last year’s event and are now available at $1150 with alumni of UWI benefitting from a reduced price of $1000.
With days to go to the Secret Garden, patrons can secure their tickets at Republic Banks: Long Circular Mall, Valpark; Trincity Mall, Gulf View and St. Augustine branches. Alumni tickets are available exclusively
at the University’s St. Augustine campus.
In a time where persons are looking for value for money, the Secret garden is sure to satisfy on all levels.
The stage is set for some of the most fashionable outfits; entertaining acts, varied bar and taste bud awakening cuisine all set against the natural backdrop of the UWI campus. Door prizes have also been confirmed courtesy Caribbean Airlines to, you guessed it, tickets to any destination of the winner’s choice.
