Point Fortin, La Brea affected as maintenance underway at Desal plant

Maintenance works scheduled to be carried out in La Brea and Point Fortin by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) will leave residents with low water pressures, and in some cases, without water.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advised that customers in these areas served by the Point Fortin Desalination Plant, will be affected as T&TEC carries out the necessary works, which is expected to be completed by 1pm.
Areas affected include:
Point Fortin (proper), Parry Lands, Cochrane, Brighton Cato, Savannah, Harriman Park, Reservoir Hill, Mahaica, Fanny Village, Point Liguore, Cap de Ville Main Road and all side streets, Salazar Trace, Egypt Village, Gonzales, Sesame Street, Lot 10, New Village, Clifton Hill, Techier, Vance River, Southern Main Road, La Brea, Vessigny, TGU and LABIDCO Estate
