Maloney police are commending the citizens of its district for adhering to road traffic laws and regulations. Despite over 30 breathalyser tests being administered, no one was found to be over the legal limit.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitre of breath (µg/100mL).

The operation took place in the Maloney District between 4 pm and 8 pm on Tuesday. It was led by Cpl Bissoon and Cpl Waldon.

Loop News was told that despite the high numbers of persons tested, they were happy that no one was over the prescribed limit.

Ten people were ticketed for a variety of other traffic offences, including driving without a permit, driving without insurance, and driving without a seatbelt.
