Man, 37, to face court for house break-ins in Penal

With the arrest of a 37-year-old man, officers of the Penal CID believe they have solved a series of break-ins which were reported in their district.
The suspect is said to be from Quarry Road, Penal.
Police have linked him to at least two incidents of housebreaking and larceny – one which occurred on August 8, 2018, and the other which occurred on August 17, 2018.
One incident was reported along Railway Line Road, Penal, while the other took place at Charlo Village, Penal.
On Monday, after weeks of inquiries, the suspect was arrested and charged by PC Deonarinesingh and PC Khaleel.
While the suspect has been directly linked to the aforementioned incidents, he is also being questioned as a suspect into several other larcenies which were reported in the district over the past five months. He is expected to be brought before a Siparia Magistrate.
