Man caught breaking into woman's bedroom

Thanks to quick work by police officers in St Mary's Village, Moruga, a suspect was held after a man was caught breaking into a woman's bedroom in Moruga. 

According to an update from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), the incident occurred on October 27, 2018. 

Police were told that the 46-year-old Moruga man was caught trying to enter the bedroom of a 37-year-old woman around 2:50 am. 

The woman told police she heard noises coming from a bedroom in her home and when checking she saw the man entering through a window.

She contacted the police and officers from the St Mary's Police Station arrived within minutes. 

The officers caught the suspect hiding in some nearby bushes.

Investigations are ongoing.
