Update: Man found dead at Manzanilla died of heart attack

Update October 22, 2019:

An autopsy revealed that 36-year-old Ramdeo Mahabir, whose lifeless body was found at Manzanilla beach, died from a heart attack.

Mahabir, of Lala Trace, Cumuto, was found dead on Saturday afternoon in a silver Nissan Wagon which was parked along the Manzanilla Beach.

Based on medical advice given by persons who visited the scene, police had initially believed that it was possible that Mahabir may have taken his life as a container with an unknown substance had been found nearby.

However, the autopsy was ordered to determine what the cause of death was, which revealed natural causes.

An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the cause of death of a Cumuto man.

The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Ramdeo Mahabir of Lala Trace, Cumuto.

According to reports, he was found dead on Saturday afternoon in a silver Nissan Wagon which was parked along the Manzanilla Beach.

From initial inquiries, police do not suspect foul play as a container containing what is believed to be a poisonous substance was found nearby.

However, an autopsy was ordered to confirm this.
