Man gunned down in car in Pleasantville

A man was shot dead in Pleasantville on Monday evening.

He has been identified as 27-year-old Kadeem "Natos" Jordan of Coconut Boulevard, Pleasantville.

Around 6.05 pm, first responders responded to a report of a shooting at Pleasantville Circular Left, Pleasantville.

Upon arrival, they observed a silver Mercedes Benz, crashed together with a white Tiida motor vehicle on the northern side of the roadway.

According to reports, around 5.40 pm three male occupants of the Tiida vehicle, all armed with firearms and masks covering their faces, exited the car and shot the victim in his vehicle.

The three suspects then made good their escape on foot.

The victim ran a short distance away into Zania Drive, Pleasantville and collapsed on the roadway.

He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The vehicles were wrecked and escorted to the Special Evidence Recovery Unit Cumuto for processing.

Further enquiries revealed that registration number which was affixed to the Tiida motor vehicle, was a false number plate.

Enquiries are ongoing.
