Man held for ATM robbery Loop News Created : 6 November 2017 Crime A 35-year-old man who allegedly tried to remove the vault attached to an ATM machine in Caparo is expected to appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate today. The suspect was arrested at his home in Valencia on Friday, following investigations led by Snr Sup Ajith Persad, under the supervision of ACP Irvin Hackshaw. He was questioned, and was linked to other robberies in the district. He was charged PC Ramoutar of the Central Division. The incident reported took place on the night of October 18. The suspect allegedly cut a hole in the wall of the southern side of the business place where the ATM was located and attempted to remove the vault.
