Man killed near Scotiabank in San Juan

A man is dead following a shooting incident in San Juan on Saturday night.

He has been identified as 55-year-old Cecil Cravadore of Quarry Drive, Champ Fleurs.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting incident along the Eastern Main Road, San Juan in the vicinity of Scotiabank around 9:15pm.

Upon arrival, they found the man along the roadway opposite Scotiabank.

Police say Cravadore appeared to have been shot during a cross fire between a former police officer and two male suspects earlier that night.

According to reports, two armed men entered the Serengetti Pub.

A former police officer who was the bar at the time, drew his personal firearm and fired several shots at the two suspects, who returned fire.

Cravadore is believed to have been shot during the cross fire.
