Man succumbs to injuries, police hunt for murder suspect

Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a 58-year-old man, who was shot three weeks ago, has succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Albert Seales, of Cocorite Road, Arima.

Police said that Seales had been shot on September 16, along Banyan Boulevard, Malabar.

At the time, he was liming with another man, identified as Kerry Browne, who is from the area, when they were attacked by two gunmen.

Browne was shot to his left knee, while Seales was shot multiple times about the body.

Seales was rushed for medical treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.

Officers of the Region II Homicide Bureau of Investigations are continuing enquiries into the killing.

Police are asking members of the public who may have information on this incident to come forward.
