The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Miklos Thomas, 28, of Marabella.

Thomas, who was a technician at Diversified Limited along Factory Road, Chaguanas, was said to be inspecting one of the machines around 3.30 pm on Tuesday when he was pinned by the machine.

Thomas was unable to extricate himself and was crushed to death.

Officers from the Central Division responded and investigations are ongoing.
