Masked bandits rob Tobago store

Tobago police are investigating after a female cashier was robbed at gunpoint by masked bandits.

According to reports, the incident took place around 3:00 pm Tuesday at Sister Isle Products  Limited, at Neptune House, Shaw Park, Scarborough.

Police officers were told that a 40-year-old female cashier was at the business place when she was accosted by two masked men.

Both men were armed with firearms.

They announced a hold-up and relieved the cashier of an estimated $11,000 in cash. Both men then escaped on foot.

The police were notified and a team of officers from the Scarborough CID led by Cpl Jonas responded.

The suspects were described as: 

Suspect 1 – dark brown in complexion approximately 5ft 6 inches in height and of slim build.

Suspect 2 light brown in complexion approximately 5ft 10 inches in height and of slim build.

Both men were clad in dark coloured long sleeve t-shirts, long pants, with gloves covering their hands, and masks covering the majority of their faces.
