Meghan Markle's BFF organises a conference after Cayman photo trolling
Jessica Mulroney in Cayman last year
According to British Tabloid, The Sun, Meghan Markle’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney, is in the process of organising a conference on how to handle social media as a positive platform.
One of the triggers of her decision was the trolling that she experienced when she shared photos of herself in a bikini in Cayman last November.
She responded to the comments by stating, "Note to self. Never ever post another picture of myself in a bathing suit. Only wear parkas by the beach.
"Apparently a picture in a bathing suit is offensive to my career, some followers, the charities I work with and my children. But guess what... I don't care.
"Thank you to my supportive followers who stand up to body shaming. Everyone else, get a clue."
One of the comments included, “Does silicone float easily? If not, no need for your kids to wear life jackets.”
Mulroney, who styles the country's First Lady Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, was in the Cayman Islands filming her Netflix series, “I Do, Redo.”
