Men's 4x400 team into IAAF World Relays final

The Trinidad and Tobago Men’s 4x400 relay team has secured a spot in the finals of the IAAF World Relays.

The IAAF World Relays is currently underway in Yokohama, Japan.

The T&T team, comprised of Deon Lendore, Jereem Richards, Asa Guevara and Machel Cendenio sailed into first place in the final heat with a time of 3:02.49. South Africa came in a close second with a time of 3:02:77, also qualifying for the finals.

Team T&T will race against Australia, Jamaica, Great Britain, Japan, USA, Belgium and South Africa in the finals, which take place on Sunday 12 May.
