Updated: Missing mentally challenged man found

Update: Emmanuel Jupiter has been found by police. 

The 34-year-old man was found in St Ann's on Sunday.

He is safely back with his family.

Police are making an appeal to citizens for their assistance in locating a mute, mentally challenged man, who went missing from his Sangre Grande home on Thursday.

According to police, Emmanuel Jupiter, 34, was last seen leaving his home at Briley Avenue, Bois Bande Sangre Grande last Thursday.

He was reported missing to the Sangre Grande Police Station a day later.

Police have so far received reports of him being spotted in the Cascade/St Ann’s area as recently as Saturday but have not located him. 

Emmanuel is of African descent, dark brown complexion, medium built with a short hairstyle and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a long black pants and red and white jersey with a grey sneakers.

He is mentally challenged and cannot speak. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 800-TIPS or contact the police at 555, 999, 911 or any police station.
